Struggling to get your CV noticed by recruiters and hiring managers 🙄 ??

You're not alone.

Many companies use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to scan CVs for keywords... But don't worry, I've got you covered!

Here are some key tips to optimise your CV for the ATS:

🔳 Relevant Keywords - Identify relevant keywords from the job description and sprinkle them throughout your CV. Think skills, software, industry, and achievements.

🔳 Formatting is KEY - Use a clear and simple layout with bullet points, headings, and standard fonts. The days of fancy graphics and layouts, or unusual formats are gone.

🔳 Don't submit a generic CV! Adapt your keywords and experiences to match each specific job you apply for. Submitting a generic CV and cover letter each time will get you NO WHERE!

🔳 Quantify Your Wins - Use numbers and data whenever possible to showcase the impact you've made in previous roles.

🔳 CHECK CHECK CHECK - Typos and errors are a red flag for ATS. Double and triple-check your CV for any mistakes. Where possible write down the full word and the acronym within the CV (i.e. COO and Chief Operating Officer)

By following these steps, you'll create an ATS-friendly CV that gets past the bots and lands in the hands of human recruiters and hiring managers.

BONUS TIP 👉 Consider using online tools to scan your CV and ensure it's optimised for ATS.

Of course, you can do this all yourself or you can call the experts with a proven track record to assist you with your CV and your online profile.
